Storia della Letteratura Greca

In this history of Greek literature Franco Montanari, professor of Greek Literature at the University of Genoa and curator of the GI.Vocabulary of the Greek language, has developed the discussion in two aspects, closely intertwined: the historical-cultural context and the literary one.
Each author of Greek literature is thus studied in the frame of social and political life, of the intellectual context, of the trends and "cultural consumption" of his time, but always according to the understanding of its specific thematic, stylistic and linguistic features.
