Pluralismo confessionale e comunità religiose in Albania

The Western Balkans have experienced also in recent times inter-ethnic and inter-religious conflicts. This was not happened to the people living within the Albanian state, where, in a space marked by secularism, pluralism and tolerance among members of different faiths developed. This study reconstructs, through the analysis of the Statutes of the different religious communities, result of a self-produced law that have interacted with the state rules, how the law has played a pedagogic role of education to the coexistence.
The volume wants to make a contribution to the "work in progress" opened on the countries of Eastern Europe, with the intent to allow the identification of the common roots of Europe.
