Sciences du Paysage

This book traces the perimeter of the areas of Sciences of the Landscape through its various components: architectural, urbanistical, ecological, geographical, historical, horticultural and agronomic, economic and political.
The author works on the main theoretical and practical knowledge targeted to the formation of the landscape architects and landscape professionals: in particular, those that enable us to understand "why" and "how" the ideas of landscape and garden are the foundation of a vision of the world and of its way to build it.
The book is, in short, a real theoretical and practical "manual" about the landscape thinking, that, through the interpretation developed by the French landscape culture, has gradually spread to all Europe.
It is a work transversal to the many disciplines that indirectly deal with the landscape and land; for these reasons is definitely a text to welcome into any type of library.
