Le poussin n'est pas un chien
Quarante ans de création arabe en littérature pour la jeunesse, reflet et projet des sociétés (Égypte, Syrie, Liban)
The text retraces forty years of children's literature in Arabic, from the 1970s to the 2000s, proposing a reading of artistic productions as an expression of the transformations of society in countries such as Egypt, Syria and Lebanon. The study relates the creation of picture books to the socio-political context, demonstrating that the message they convey is a reflection of the project for the construction of society. This volume represents the first and only work dedicated to Arabic children's literature: a fundamental text for anyone involved in children's literature. A valuable work tool but at the same time a pleasant read that transports you to an artistic world that can be further appreciated thanks to the richness of the illustrations that accompany the text.
