Il Mito greco e la manutenzione dell'anima
In this book the figures of Greek myth are interpreted in a way that connects them inextricably to the soul. Deities and heroes are presented as imaginative and changing representations of the flows of energy that run through the human soul. Flows that move her, that agitate, swirling as in a storm inside her, or rest there with a light and restless sleep, ready to reawaken. We must imagine that the soul is this movement within us. The Greek term "psyche" firstly designates a breath of air, a breath, a wind, and then goes on to indicate the vital principle and, finally, the shadows of the deceased. The term encompasses the range of different and contradictory aspects that distinguish human nature for better or for worse and diversify it from that of all other beings on earth.
