Odissea arbereshe

This volume describes the human and political adventure of the italian-albanese or arbëresh Terenzio Tocci, from his birth in a Calabria's village to his commitment in favor of the emancipation of the Albanians from the Ottoman Empire, from his transfer into the independent Albania to the collaboration with King Zog, from the participation in the Italian occupation regime to his tragic death in coincidence with the coming to power of the new communist authorities in 1945. What emerges is an extraordinary personality, offering an eccentric but also revealing key to interpret the events of the Adriatic-Balkan area and the role played in it by Italy.
