Galileo e Keplero

We are in the late sixteenth century, the beginning of a new and bitter season for European culture. A small minority of philosophers and mathematicians is engaged in research of the foundations of a new constitution of the universe. In this book Bucciantini reconstructs their genesis and early development through a thorough examination of the human and intellectual events of two of the major protagonists of modernity: Galileo and Kepler.
