Prospettive metaforiche nella filosofia di G.W. Leibniz

In this first systematic investigation of the metaphorical discourse in the writings of Leibniz, it is particularly described and analyzed the role of five metaphors: ocean, way, mirror, maze and scales. The "metaphorical perspective' adopted in the study highlights the constitutive role of these metaphors and shows how the different fields of knowledge and the main concepts of the Leibniz's thought are interrelated and organized in a multiperspective vision of world and  knowledge.
